Bhubaneswar: KIIT Deemed to be University has achieved a remarkable sporting feat by securing Runner-Up position in the Corporate Cricket Tournament and Third Position with a Bronze Medal in the Football Tournament, organized by Infosys, Bhubaneswar DC.
The tournament witnessed participation from several leading corporate and institutional organizations, including TCS, Infosys, LTIMindtree, Wipro, Capgemini, EY, Deloitte, Cognizant, Railways, Odisha Secretariat, Accenture, BSNL, Canara Bank, SOA University, and KIIT Deemed to be University, among others.
The KIIT teams displayed exceptional teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship and competitive spirit throughout the tournament. Their impressive performances in both cricket and football resulted in back-to-back trophies for KIIT, bringing pride and recognition to the university.
The teams achieved this success under the leadership of Mr. Dinesh Ku. Muduli, leadership played an important role. . The teams also benefited from the valuable mentorship of Prof. Isham Panigrahi.
The KIIT Players expressed their sincere gratitude to the university authorities for providing the necessary support and encouragement to participate in the tournament.
