Long time Manish but so delighted to have you here. We will discuss your college life and the things you figured out while growing up.
“Thanks for having me, grateful to God & everyone I met in college”
How were you as a student in college? Did you ever top?
I was the kind of student who always reached classrooms late, but all the students appreciated me for coming early. Now with time, I realized that I should have attended more classes because honestly, I miss my college days so much. I never ever topped any exam in my university or even in my school life but I was always in constant touch with all the toppers because I thought hanging around with them will make me smart as if it was an Osmosis process.
What is essential in college life? Fame or Clout?
None of that matters honestly, be a man of culture. See in college you earn fame by always being active or leading some organizations in the college, but once you pass out from college there will be someone else leading it. I have come to Odisha after almost two years but still, I’m sitting with you here and talking about my college life, Is it due to fame? Absolutely not. Humbleness ups your happiness. Being grounded in the fact that you don’t know everything helps you learn more. The greatest purpose of college life is to find life.
What did you do in college for fun?
Hanging around with the boys once in a while has been one of the best things I did. You know I came here the day before yesterday around 9 pm and by 10 I was ready for dinner with my brothers. We all met after such a long time but they still all are amazing people to hang out with. The strongest men I have met in my life are always kind and soft-spoken.
Is there any habit that you learned in college while you were growing up? Did that habit add any value to your life?
I loved the idea of collecting sneakers. See, no one in this world builds a sneaker collection overnight. They built it by buying each pair over a period of time. And that’s exactly the fundamental of wealth. You cannot become wealthy overnight but you will build it by consistently investing over time
What makes you so kind and humble towards everyone?
I guess everyone on this planet earth have a different story to tell, how they spent high school, how they fell in love, and how they saw the world changing. We should respect each and every one’s story. Everyone deserves safety, calm, softness, and peace.
Anything else that you are proud of making happen when you were in college?
When I came to college for the first time in 2017, I will show you a picture from my hostel room. I was almost 85 kilos, I couldn’t even run. I started with walking, then with time, I started jogging and then sprinting. Today my weight is 55 kilos and I can even run marathon races. Time changes everything, trust the process.
